[]12. OUR PASTOR’S WEDNESDAY TEACHING
Our Pastor refreshed his teaching on the Doctrine of the Lord’s Supper on last Wednesday night. The Pastor covered in his teaching – the EXPANDED definition of the local church. The Church is a local beloved community of Baptized Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit, engaged in the fulfillment of the Great Commission, obedient to the principles of God’s Word to (1) Worship (2) Evangelism (3) Discipleship, (4) Fellowship, (5) Ministry; , and faithful to the encouragement of one another as we wait for the Lord Jesus Christ to come again at any moment. God loves us unconditionally! The Church should express unconditional love, even for people who do not mean us well. We do not believe in Christening, but we believe in Believer’s Baptism. To be emerged under the water in baptism demonstrates the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are emerged the old person and resurrected in baptism the new person. God never gives us an assignment without giving us the power to complete it. God’s commandment reminds each of us to lift up Jesus high and He will draw people to fill your pew. If you are a true member of the Church, you will be as faithful to God as He has been to you.
Ordinance means – ordered, set out, decided, marked off, put in place and commanded to continue. The Church has 2 ordinances: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which reminds us of the atonement “at-one-ment”, which means Jesus fixed it. He made us one in our relationship with God.
4 – PRINCIPLES OF THE DOCTRINE OF THE LORD’S SUPPER:
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a Communion
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a Memorial
W Believe the Lord’s Supper is for Baptized Believers only
We believe the Lord’s Supper is to be observed frequently.

[ ] 14. THE BEST SUNDAY SCHOOL DESERVES
           THE BEST TEACHERS
Teachers who fail to attend Sunday School Teacher’s
Conference, will not teach that Sunday and those who
continue to miss will not be brought back as a teacher
for 2009. Teachers are not determined by the classes,
but are appointed by the Pastor. If a SS Teacher or
Worker cannot attend the Teacher’s Conference,
notification shows respect for this unmerited privilege to
serve the Lord on the Pastor’s teaching staff and the
saints of Christ. The NBC Sunday School Standard
makes Teacher’s Conference essential for all teachers,
along with prayer meeting, Morning Worship, Lord’s
Supper, Evangelizing, Tithing and supporting the
Pastor. Our Pastor will appoint the Associate Minister,
or member to bring the highlights of the lesson from time
to time in Teacher’s Conference as deemed necessary.

[ ] 21. TITHING: GLORIFIES, STRENGTHENS
       & BLESSES
The Bible says in Genesis 28:22 that God honors our tithes. The word “motives” means what moves or stimulates us to do the things we do. The motive behind the gift of tithing determines the real worth of the gift.
The tithes and offerings are God’s way of supporting the Kingdom of God through the local Church. Throughout the world more than 82% of the Church’s financial burden is being carried by 18% of members who have committed themselves to the practice of tithing year around. They contribute 10% of their income to the Lord through their Church where their name is on the roll as a member. Here are 7 challenging motives for beginning or continuing to tithe God’s way:
#1. There are Christians who are faithful tithers because of a desire to acknowledge God’s Ownership of all things (read Psalms 24:1).
#2. There are Christians who tithe because they desire the blessings which are promised by God to the Tither (Malachi 3:10).
We rob ourselves when we are guilty of robbing God of tithes and offerings (Malachi 3:9). God receive 10% and we have enough to meet our individual or family needs with 90%. It cost more not to tithe than it does to tithe!
#3. There are Christians who tithe for the personal satisfaction of having an investment in the most important enterprise of God on earth (Matt. 28:18-20).
#4. There are Christians who tithe because of our personal faith in the Word of God and the God of the Word.
If we can trust God with our souls, surely we can trust God with our money. Tithing is an act of trusting God! Tithing is inseparable from the test of our testimony for God!
#5. There are Christians who receive a fresh sense of worship for God when we tithe.
Real and genuine worship is an experience in which we give all that we have to God to receive all that God has for us!
#6. There are Christians who tithe in order to permit God to be a partner with us in our economic life. Tithing is a part of the cure for the cancer of covetousness.
#7. There are Christians who tithe because tithing is a touchable way in which we prove our love for the Lord. God loved us and gave His only Begotten Son for us utterly and completely. It has been said, “Our love for God should show up in our giving!” PUT YOUR FAITH IN GOD INTO PRACTICE BY BECOMING A COMMITTED AND FAITHFUL TITHER TODAY! We cannot be a good steward robbing God at the same time. Let’s give God’s Way, CHEERFULLY! Thank you! God promises in Malachi 3 “to open the windows of Heaven and pour you out a blessing!”
